Introducing PausAR Metrics: See How Visitors Interact With Your 3D & AR Content

You built a stunning 3D product viewer on your website. Visitors can rotate, zoom and launch your product in AR right from their phone. But here is the question nobody could answer until now: Is anyone actually using it? How many visitors interact with your 3D model? How many launch AR? Do they scan the QR code on desktop? Which product pages get the most 3D engagement? PausAR Metrics answers all of these questions.
PausAR Metrics release

What is PausAR Metrics?

PausAR Metrics is our new companion plugin for PausAR 3D & AR for Elementor. It tracks how visitors engage with your PausAR powered 3D models and Augmented Reality experiences and presents the data in a clean, visual dashboard right inside WordPress. No external tools. No complex setup. Install, activate, done. Data starts flowing immediately. PausAR Metrics is available for free with 7 days of data retention or up to 365 days with the pro version.

What does it track?

PausAR Metrics measures three types of interactions:

  • 3D Viewer Interaction: A visitor interacts with your PausAR 3D model viewer (once per widget per page visit). This tells you how many people actually engage with your 3D content rather than just scrolling past it.
  • QR Code Generated: The AR button is clicked on a device without AR support (like a desktop PC) and the QR code popup is shown. This tells you how many desktop visitors are interested enough in AR to grab their phone.
  • AR Session Started: A visitor launches the AR experience on their mobile device. This is the most valuable metric: someone placed your product in their real environment. PausAR Metrics also detects whether the AR session was launched on an Apple or Android device.

You are currently viewing a placeholder content from YouTube. To access the actual content, click the button below. Please note that doing so will share data with third-party providers.

More Information

The Dashboard

Everything lives in your WordPress admin under PausAR Metrics:

  • Interactive timeline: A line chart showing your 3D & AR interactions over time. See trends at a glance and spot which days drive the most engagement.
  • Event distribution: A donut chart showing the split between 3D Viewer interactions, QR Code scans and AR launches. Instantly understand how visitors move through the 3D-to-AR journey.
  • Summary cards: Totals for each event type plus the number of pages with active PausAR widgets.
  • Sortable data table: Every page with a PausAR widget listed with its individual metrics. Sort by any column to find your top performers.
  • Top 3 pages: Your best-performing pages ranked by total interactions with a color-coded breakdown bar.
  • AR platform breakdown: See how AR sessions split between Apple (iOS/iPadOS/visionOS) and Android devices.
  • Dashboard widget: A compact overview on your main WordPress Dashboard page showing key metrics for the last 7 days and today. Always visible at a glance without navigating to the full analytics page.

Privacy by design

This was non-negotiable for us. PausAR Metrics collects zero personal data:

  • No cookies
  • No IP addresses
  • No device fingerprinting
  • No connections to external servers

Only aggregated counters are stored: event type, page URL, widget ID, date and hour. Everything stays in your own WordPress database. You can delete all data with a single click at any time. You can also disable tracking entirely with one button.

Free vs. Pro

The free version of PausAR Metrics gives you the complete dashboard experience with 7 days of data retention. That is enough to see current trends and understand how your 3D content performs right now.
PausAR Metrics Pro extends data retention to 30, 90, 180 or 365 days. This allows you to track long-term trends, compare months, measure the impact of campaigns or website changes over time and build a real data history for your 3D & AR strategy.

Why this matters

If you are investing in 3D models and AR experiences for your website, you need to know whether that investment is working. Are visitors engaging with your 3D content? Are they launching AR? Which products get the most attention?
Without data, you are guessing. With PausAR Metrics, you know.
And because the data lives in your WordPress database, you own it completely. No third-party analytics platform, no external dashboard, no data leaving your server.
