How to add AR & 3D content to your website with PausAR (Step-by-Step)
- Install the plugin
- Go to your WordPress dashboard → Plugins → Add New → Search for “PausAR”
- Click “Install” and then “Activate”
- Prepare your 3D models for web AR
- Use .glb for Android/desktop and .usdz for iOS
- Don’t have a USDZ? Use our free online GLB to USDZ Converter
- Upload your 3D content to WordPress
- Upload your 3D files via the WordPress media library (PausAR manages the file type recognition for you, just drag and drop your .glb, .usdz or .reality (Pro) files into the media library)
- Drag & drop the PausAR viewer widget into your Elementor page
- Edit your page with Elementor
- Search for “PausAR Viewer” in the widget panel and drag it into your layout
- Configure 3D viewer and AR mode settings
- Set model URLs (.glb/.usdz)
- Change the style settings so that the 3D viewer and AR start button match your websites look & feel
- Set the AR tracking method (vertical or horizontal surfaces supported)
